My life as being a kid had embedded some deep core wounds that I had spent the most of my life at that point diving deeply into on the side of my hospitality career. And a chef’s job is not the most cohesive environment for healing.
I simply dreamed of being free of the suffering. Hospitality was a vehicle for me to generate money, read about the world & travel. On the side I would personally travel from your North of Australia in winter season, for the southern parts for the summers focusing on farms between. It had been a continuous summer of finding people to learn different healing modalities & bodywork from, all the while working in idyllic locations such as the wilderness of Tasmania in eco lodges, the deserts of Australia.
I set my 1975 4WD Land Rover Series 3 on top of solar panel systems, 3 batteries, and kitchen within my trailer, and I would go and do vision quests inside the desert for 40 – 60 days asking them questions in deep contemplative states to find answers about life no-one have been able to help me with. I traveled All that mighty land called Australia over 20 years working in among the best restaurants in Australia and the world.
I even worked in a fine dining restaurant inside the desert which had been booked 2 weeks beforehand & was the Sommelier selling wines as much as Au$4400 per bottle! I mean, exactly what a ride. A number of the people who own these places inspired me incredibly and I cannot thank them enough. One chef, Stefano de Pieri wasn’t a qualified chef along with his own T.V channel and among the best restaurant in the world. Mind blown I figured damn, all you need is passion in your life and motivation.

Our vision would be to present our clean fresh vibrant living raw foods many came to take pleasure from from the retreats, in a restaurant environment, secure the growing healthy raw food community here in Ubud which is the largest on the planet per square meter & carry on and educate & inspire our students from our training’s. Now you don’t need to do our retreats or trainings to get a taste in the goodness
The greater I learnt about manufacture of our foods, the better I realized how messed up things were. I took work on a chicken-processing farm for 6 weeks to really see exactly what is going on. What did I learn? We have been really disconnected from what is in fact happening. And when we percieve cuts of meat all cleaned and bleached on the supermarkets or delivered to our establishments, what we should are missing and not connecting to is actually all the suffering that accompany it. And I don’t just mean the animals, for sure that’s obvious. But those who operate in these places have severe mental illness. They may be people who do not squeeze into society, cannot hold a conversation with “normal” folk. Cannot turn up to function all dressed sharp and keep it together. Nope, these people require our help.
